Getting my PROT-PALLY to level 30 and getting a mount wasn’t the most important thing for me to do, and in-fact I’m still at level 29. I was much more interested and felt a sense of achievement in getting Exalted with Darnasus before level 30, my previous best was level 32.

I’ve already commenced work on my next faction, Exodar – with the aid of wowhead’s database of quests giving reputation. The fact that the first few quests I have to do are grey and will give me about 200 XP when completed (I need 15k not the 1.5k, I thought, to level 30), isn’t a factor. I’m more interested in the 68 rep for Exodar this will give me.

and see aht % ppl are going to raid you can see why some ppl have so much more dkp than others now i'm useing my self as a example because it'a easy lol

i work mon-fri but i work nights so i can go to any raids duering the weekdays so loose what 5 instances i cant go to so thats 5 times i miss out on dkp because i'm working now before ppl say anything i know these is nothing that can be done about this it's my job so hey but i can never catch up to anyone even if i go to every weekend raid i can for example Stelli (sorry stelli) he is able to raid all week and weekends if free so his raid % for the last 30 days is 93% so he has gone to 93% of the raids in the last 30 days where logies is only 60% but the problem i have is even if i go to every raid on sat and sun i will never catch up as there is no Cap so stelli DKP will just keep goin up higher and higher but faster than mine

now what i'm suggesting is to have a DKP cap make it 200 Dkp points if you need just make one because in 5-6 months time your have ppl with 700-800 dkp points and ppl that have odd jobs or famileys or yes girlfriends that dont understnd the importance of wow will be sitting there with 150 DKP with no hope to be able to possible win anything

now this is just me having a whine but i really would like ppl to coment about it and pls dont just have a go at least leave some helpfull info i know also there will be ppl against it lol the ppl with very high DKP who raid everyday

as i'm not the only person itty has noticed it as she is spending more time looking at headgehogs in the garden (dam Vermin)
just think if things pop up in your life as things normaly do are you going to spend the next 4-5 month trying to get back to the top just because you had to spend less time on wow
this is a game and ppl do have things happen in the real world so just think about it pls

Thanks to Stelli 'The sheep herder' and Lucklas 'The Power Ranger' I've been kept up to date with all your raiding improvements and all I can say is WoW (Pun intended), great work on getting into the Tier5 raids and taking them down.

After almost 3months of me not even switching my PC on, I've finally logged into Warcraft, would have done so earlier, but forgot my password and my account name *oops*

At the moment I'm playing with a Shaman, already level 6 after just 2 hours played, so you can tell I'm on a roll (maybe a sandwich!!), hopefully once my fingers get used to hitting the right buttons again I'll be online with my guild characters - Morthane, Morthien, Morsouls (For those who have no idea who this odd person posting is), took me a second there to remember myself. Though may need to level a new Rogue, Pally and Lock just so I can work out how to play them, before I come online and embarrass myself by trying to soulstone the mob and healing the mage instead of the tank :)

Of course that last paragraph won't make any more sense than a Paladin trying to sheep Noob 'The Sheepless' from Anber Sound if my characters have been kicked from the guild *LOL*

1. We have several Unity raids set up normally per week, these days are Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 8:30 - 12.00 pm.

• Is this to many raids?
• Do people find it hard to turn up at these times?
• Do problems with Group calendar hinder sign ups?

2. DKP how does that effect your willingness to raid?

• Is the lack of DKP points stopping you from raiding with the guild?
• Do you feel that you may miss out on items because of your lack of DKP if you bid on them?

3. Are there any other issues that may be effecting you, that you feel is being over looked?

If you could, I would like some constructive ideas and your opinions so that we can try to improve or talk to you about this.

Just wanted to say to you lot thanks for the laughs, I have enjoyed it and wish you all the best.

I have found recently my desire to play the game fade as I feel more and more frustrated at a number of previously highlighted issues; No DKP cap, DKP generally etc… I have also been seriously dissappointed at the lack of content to 2.4 and that you now have to sacrifice you social life and work life to get beyond T4 as a healer… or any other class tbh. I frequently get in from work now 30/40 mins after raids start see you are all in battle and log back out again. To be able to raid enough to keep up with the guild and the those of you I would like to raid with my work and soical life would suffer.

I am not willing to do that and i feel the reason for me playing has died with it.

I know 8.99 isn't much a month but by cancelling my sub i think I am giving myself a holiday. Maybe in 4/5 months I will feel different (long as you have capped DKP ;-) ) And i will return for the new expansion.

However, for now I wish you all the best, happy hunting and above all a pleasent and safe summer.

Currently only tier items are not nuked and are given to ppl who already have the item for off spec, grinding or pvp. I believe that this policy could be applied to other items as well. There are many times that someone has to do something not normally in his spec that can help the guild. We had Prom tanking in Mag last week, I had to tank the birds in 2nd boss in ZA, a feral tank or warrior tank needs to dps at some bosses and so on. Nobody though would be willing to spend dkp to make off spec gear.

So we got 2 categories of items: the Tier items and the normal drops.

1) For the Tier items the situation should be continued as it is in my opinion but extended in a way to: They may be given to anyone who has already the item or something BETTER. By better it is meant higher Tier items or some craftable epics that are considered better than Tier items, for example the engineering glasses which are considered to be the best headpiece for each class. That way it can be certified that they would be used as off-spec, grinding, or pvp gear and not that someone would get a "free" epic for his gear. If the situation occurs that there is a tier item not wanted by anyone then the ones that have it already or got something better should be able to /roll for that and the winner gets it for off spec gear. One idea could also be that the winner should have to spend some dkp for that (half or a third) so that we make sure that it is given to someone who can find a use for it and also to make it fair to other ppl (Need your views to that).

2) For the normal drops, I believe we could find a way so that these are not nuked, and also not be given for "free" which would be unfair to those who have paid for them. The solution in my opinion is to be given to ppl only for off-spec for example dps melee for warrior tanks, tanking items for palas, dps +spell damage for healers etc. By doing this we could make sure that many from our guild have at least some good items if we need them to do a certain job. (Of course changing spec should be prohibited in any way for a raiding guildie cause we need the ppl in the guild to do their given jobs and if they respec we will have problems in raiding, so if someone respecs should be not allowed to raid.) Also here the idea of spending a lesser amount of dkp could be used so that there is some spending of dkp.
Well that is all, I just hate to see all those good items nuked and I am sure that we could find a formula so that we make use of them. I am waiting to hear your ideas and opinions about this.

I used to think my lack of DPS was down to the lack of gear, but in the last few weeks I've got some serious upgrades, so why was I still lacking on the most important rogue trait ?

A quick search on wowwiki gave me the answer to my question. I realised that my talent build was more or less the same since TBC came out and with the multiple chages in skills, talents and game mechanics it was no longer a viable build. One quick respec later and my DPS output jumped by nearly 30 points.

Most of us we 'know' all about checking patch notes for how it will effect our main toon but how many of us have skipped over the notes for those alt's we don't get the chance to play very often ?

The message here is simple, if your looking to starting doing some more on an alt then check that your talent build is what you think it is.. Otherwise you could end up getting out damaged by the tank ;)

It was voted that this guild implement a DKP system for raiding members. As it seemed that the majority (voted) of members wanted to become more of emphasis towards raiding! Therefore the pressure is on to attend raids (Mages - on rotation at least) for Dkp points!

We have voted to be Dkp driven for raids but find it hard to compete for Dkp points when runs don’t take place or are late starting because of a few individuals.

Example:
Wednesday night Karazhan Group B– raid leader/organiser didn’t turn up, but managed the run albeit late!

Following night,

Thursday night Zul’Aman run – never took place raid leader/organiser didn’t turn up – no run!

The result being that members are disappointed when they sign up and don’t go.

When they sign up and the organisers don’t turn up or the start of the run is late.

Whilst there is a lot of effort by the raid leaders which is often a frustrating and thank less job there is still cause for concern.

I have further noted that despite trying to be on time and prepared. i. e inside the instance all repaired, buffed and ready to go at the appointed time. Other members may not share the same mentality meaning a lot of hanging about before first damage is implemented.

Is there a solution or a compromise?

Like don’t post an event if your NOT or have No intention of attending that event?

Lost of Dkp points unless your absence is officially noted BEFORE the designated run.

Adhere to existing raid rules about turning up on time..etc…

I would like to see something more constructive come out of this as I relize thats it very easy to criticise, often, the hard work that a few do but most seldom get to see or give credit too!

Maybe its just Huston and others do not share my viewpoints?
