UNITY is One years old

Party1.gif

We have seen this guild grow over the last year to an extraordinary size. It has become bigger then I had ever thought would happen, when we started out. When I say we, I speak of the founders the handful of people that have been patient and worked very hard to keep things going here, that shared similar views and set them into motion.

We have seen lots of people come, go and return, in between those comings and goings, we have met some very special people that stayed and joined the ranks of UNITY, and while on this subject I would like to thank all those wonderful people that helped start and have remained with UNITY throughout this last year and helped us become the guild we are today. Even though we have had our share of ups and downs, a lot of you have become very dear to me in your own very individual ways. I find that I have grown quite attached to UNITY, and our chats on-line, I miss them like an old familiar friend when they are not around.

The guild is moving up into a new phase now and it is good to see progress we are all making with enthusiasm and motivation, I hope to welcome lots of new elements and experiences in UNITY in the next year(s) to come. thank you all for making UNITY. =)

Mage Quarterly

Mages are Gods others are not (especially Paladins)

When will the other classes recognise the Gods that are Mages ? It strikes me that many people mock and poke fun at Mages. That is, until they want a sheep (dirty ! nasty things !) <—-( ermm oops, HMMMMMmm) or some AOE or some damage or worse still some water or food. Why is this ? Could it be the jealous reaction of those that would secretly like to wear cloth (or in some cases Lycra) next to their skin, instead of rusty plate or mail that chafes ? (I am deliberately excluding leather for reasons that i cannot divulge here). Maybe its envy of the wonderfully beautiful spell effects Mages have ? What ever it is it must stop !

Mages don't have much more health than a baby gerbil, we tend to die quite quickly if hit. This normally happens when one of our minions has neglected his or her duty and not protected us properly ! Again, this must stop.

From now on we expect the worship that is our due. We expect all other classes to recognise us as their true Lords and masters. If this is not forth coming in the near future we will remove our services. We are the true rulers of Azeroth !!!…..*dribble, froth*….we will soon be rulers of the world !….*more dribble and frothing*….then the UNIVERSE !!!! hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

PS: Itty passes a tissue to Stelli to wipe the dribble off his chin…

Karazhan

As you may know UNITY has now entered Karazhan (an abandoned ancient tower, located in the Deadwind Pass) which is a ten man raid dungeon at level 70. A fantastic achievement for the Guild. UNITY runs raids for levels 60-70 on a regular basis – keep up to date in GEM.

Class Leaders

We need your assistance too as UNITY is looking for some Class Leaders. This will require some responsibility in keeping the Class Page up-to-date and vetting new recruits for that class along with providing assistance where required. Have a look at the Class Leaders Page and make an application at the bottom if you are interested in filling any vacancy.

Forum

For those of you that have not yet participated, the Forum is an excellent way to mix and interact with your fellow Guildies. You can find sections relating to your Class, asking for help and loads of fun stuff too. Check out this thread for a snippet of what can be found inside the Forum.
