Hidden Easter Egg - A poem by Edgar Allan Poe
Moving forward
Well as you all know we have been working awfully hard at Karazhan…
I am so pleased to see that UNITY is doing so well after the last year of struggling to find our niche in the raiding chain. It has also unfortunately cost us a lot of very nice Guildies, some with good reason for their departures and other because they didn't have the patience any longer to hold out.
The guild in the past few weeks seems to have settled again to its usual UNITY pace, and I hope that this tranquility remains at least for a little while =P. We have a great guild with wonderful people, and I think its worth being proud of.
I just want to say Guys/Gals in the group that paved the way for us lately in Karazhan, great going keep up the fantastic work… and thank you for the mountain of patience you have shown us all… even though it has been a trying time, especially for the Raid leader. Just don't you all get to epix hungry =P.
So after many discussions haggling and a few new members, not to mention the attunements, we have been able to finally launch a third Kara group, with help and support from the first group with tactics and guidance.
At this point I would also like to welcome the new members to UNITY, and hope we will all be a happy team together.
And a reminder that things may be slightly disorganised over the next weeks as we have holiday season. Those of you going to exotic places I am jealous =( and those just taking some time out somewhere have a great time all of you =) and see you when you get back.

A touch of class
Lucklas shares his tales as a Class Leader
Class leaders are here to support members of their class…
We're here to answer questions, people need to know the important facts like 'if you are getting beaten in a duel you must always bubble and hearth out'! and I need to be razor sharp on all the Pally facts. I must revise at night - 'The int per spell crit at 70 is 22.075=1%', 'The +spelldamage coefficient for 1Hander Seal of Righteousness is 9.2% per 1.0 weapon speed'. Very important!!
Of course I may never see some of my Class because we all differ in game times and I may blinded by the Holy Light so whisper your Class Leader when you see them or send an in game mail. And remember there are often two Class leaders which gives you more options.
Karazhan is certainly a tricky subject, if you want to get in or help with attunement or with something else other than Kara, talk to us.
GMs can't do everything otherwise they would be whispered to death, the Class Leaders are a delegated responsibility and an ideal port of call for any member of UNITY needing help.
Use them/Abuse them! and don't forget to love thy class…
A Mage I know…..
Hello again, sheepherder here.
The last few weeks the bars have been pretty empty. So it has been tricky to find fellow devotees to kill things. Those that I do see say that everyone is going to 'Kara something or other' (not sure, was distracted by a particularly attractive piece of wool at that point ! phwoarr !!!).
Anyway, this wouldn't normally worry me (leaves more time to 'find the wool' if u know what I mean nudge nudge) but I have recently been followed by some people from the Shepherds Protectorate and this has made things a little awkward.
You see, apparently this is all due to someone, who I am not allowed to name. (suffice to say she is a Dwarven Paladin who likes dark damp caves… when she can find them) She, being wracked by jealous emotions has wickedly told these Protectorate people that I am a 'sheep worrier' can u believe it !?!?! ME ?!?!
I am simply interested in the texture of wool and its uses and this is what i told them ! However, the Protectorate insisted that they had to be sure.
All this has meant that my activities have been severely limited. In fact, all I have been able to do is put my feet up with a copy of 'Wool Merchants Monthly' (wish I could un-stick some of the pages) and that’s it. :-(
So, here's hoping for a more fire infested damage fest for the next part of the year AND freedom from the protectorate. :-))
See u soon
'Fire wool' Stelli RAAARRRR !!!!
Never Mor
Morethan discusses the characters he has loved and lost…
Long ago in a land not to far from here, lived a Priest called Elmleaf, who got to the exalted level of 18, before being afflicted with the curse of Mor and died.
Over the years more and more characters were born, levelled and removed from the Realm.
“Why did these terrible events occur?” you ask, (well I’m assuming you’d ask).
There are some players who decide on a char and will play that class to the dizzy heights of lvl 60 (lvl 70 now) and revel in the reputation gained, items won and lost and general enjoyment which comes with a well seasoned and often played friend.
And then there are people like me, who just like levelling.
Looking back over the past year, I've played every class, with each getting to at least lvl20 before being sucked down into the twisted nether.
There was the original lvl 18 priest died because I got sick of being told to heal lol - that was my first char above lvl 5!
I did not give up on Priests and had a lvl 30 - gone but not forgotten, Night Elf, but decided the racial ability sucked more than a Dyson vacuum cleaner.
My lvl 34 Mage - wanted to be a frost aoe'er, but the name finally got to me and froze to death.
I had 6 chars all with names based around Morethan - all now lessthan. The original characters of Mor
On one occasion three// lvl 20's// died because they all had a variation on the Mor name, but the one above was called Elm, and that bugged me so much they all had to go.
I once spent the weekend levelling all the classes to lvl 10 (one level each at a time) to decide which one I preferred, then deleted them all. (I liked the Mage by the way).
Currently I have a lvl 20 Warrior, a lvl 32 Priest, a lvl 6 Druid and a lvl 4 Mage. How far I take them before they get ganked by the dreaded 'Murlok of Doom', I have no idea :)
Symmetry is everything and their names are okay (variations on Mor), and they look okay. The sequence in my list is not ideal but I can deal with it. (A minor symmetry issue).
Morethan who is lvl 66 - will hopefully see 70 before I have another mad moment and clear my character list again.
All told I guess I've rolled about 40 characters and levelled all to about 900 levels all in. Thinking about it in those terms I think I need help or a keyboard with no delete key!
